Dang alternator went out and had to trailer it home, first time in 30 years on a trailer. Strap broke and fell on it side. I knew it didn't look right to have a Honda on a trailer.

10:02 am | First time listed: VERY NICE 1993 GL1500 Aspencade, 53488 original miles, mechanically perfect, new Dunlop tires, brake pads, rear wheel rubber bumpers, K&L Air Filter, fuel pump. Paint is original, but very good for it's age. This is a wonderful bike. I am only selling it because I upgraded to an 1800. Honestly, my 2002 1800 is not as pretty as this bike. It is Candy Spectra Red and everywhere I go, it seems to draw a crowd. I can provide lots of pictures on request. Again, this bike is not listed anywhere else presently. I've only owned the bike for a little over 6 months. I have a total of a little over $7200.00 total investment. I purchased the bike for a reasonable 6100.00. The remaining dollars have went into the new tires, etc., that I have mentioned above. This is money that YOU would invest as well. I'll sell the bike for $6995.00. My price is firm. Has a stone or some object ever hit your motorcycle while riding? Maybe that car alongside of you kicked up a stone or maybe the dump truck your following isn’t properly covered and some of what it’s hauling blows back onto you and your motorcycle. What do you do? Maybe you stop to check for any damage and maybe you don’t. Either way if your headlight suffered any damage your ride or trip just ended. Hopefully, the lens cover is all that was damaged. You’ve got a decision to make. Continue your trip to find the nearest Honda motorcycle store or return home. You’ll be very lucky if a cop doesn’t stop you if you have no headlight.
Now is not the time to check the cost. However, if you have, you’ll find the cost to replace your headlight is over $400.00 if they’re still being made. Lots of luck!
Here is a possible solution to help protect that $400.00 plus headlight. This is the same headlight material used on expensive cars all over the world. This is a clear vinyl material that adheres to the face of the headlight and has been tested and proven to reduce and possible eliminate damage in most all cases in tests up to 120 MPH.
This may or may not be something your interested in, but for under $25.00 how can you go wrong.

06:45 am | My request is a simple one but not a common one. My husband has been a Gold Wing rider for more than 30 years and owns a great burple 2003 1800. I was endorsed about 15 year ago and since rode a Sportster, a Kaw and finally the LOVE of my live a 750 Honda Shadow. It is now necessary for me to be on three wheels. The Shadow was sold about a year ago. We are searching for a 1500 trike. Due to a long list of personal issues that made it necessary for us to go through some tough times, we are hoping to find someone willing to take payments or allow us to take over payments.
We are sure there is someone in the GWRRA family that can work with us. In the meantime I will continue to be co-pilot and love every mile we share.......} |

My wife and I are members of GWRRA in southern Indiana. My son is(19)now has his motorcycle license and wants to join GWRRA but the problem he has is he doesn't own a bike. I had him take the motorcycle safety course before I would allow him to ride a bike.
If anyone has a bike he might be able get fairly cheap (if it needs some repair thats ok  )please email me. He is not a small boy 6' 3" and weighs close to 330 lbs. He isn't aware that I'm trying to do this for him so if you would respond to goldwing45@insightbb.com

Talk about a small world, just saw your post on wanted board.. I was on there because I’m looking for a Valk. Looking to sell my 2000 SE Pearl white/green with 44,000 miles.. Has Progressive 416 rear shocks, progressive fork springs, Saddleman road sofa seat, Kuryakan grips and highway pegs, transformer passenger foot rest, Pia headlight bulbs and driving lights, Compufire alternator…The radio has been modified for auxiliary audio input, 3,000 miles on Michelin pilot tires, aftermarket new rear brake disc, fresh pads all the way around in spring of ’08.
Bike has clear NH title. It is a Repaired Title ..Bike was totaled last year I was rear ended @stop sign. Insurance co totaled but I bought it and repaired for $1500.Damage was just in bags. Replaced bags with a set of trike take offs ..

Looking for a lockable Bushtec Trailer Hitch pin.
I have an old model trailer and trailer hitch pin(late 80's)that uses a clevis pin for lock down.
The clevis pin is bent, and I would like to get away from it.
As stated in my original post, I'm in deep do-do for buying the trailer without talking to the boss first, so cost is important.
All I need is the Lockable hitch pin.
Any help is appreciated.
