Thursday, November 05, 2009 09:24 pm | Has anyone updated their Zumo 550 to the new 2010 map set and how does the 2010 compare to the 2009 map set. Is the upgrade worth it. |

'09 did not have 130 & 45 Toll roads either...'10 does. These are local highways that I KNOW were not shown before. Rode through NM and CO this summer without encountering ANY road that wasn't shown. If you do decide to upgrade, do yourself a favor and get the "lifetime" offer for a little over $100. I've taken advantage of this deal three times this year alone and will not have to worry about paying for any in the future for THIS unit. One time payment and updates quarterly for the life of the unit you own (only good for 1 unit) or as long as the 550 is supported. Just make sure you take very good care of the 550 you have, as mentioned before, they are good for 1 unit only. Unfortunately, there is no listing for what was added to the base map as the list could possibly be very extensive. But a newer portion of a freeway here was added in the last update, Sept 09. |
