Thursday, November 05, 2009 05:26 pm | On a 1500 front brake caliper; one of the pin plugs refuses to budge. I even hit it with an impact driver. Would it be OK to heat it up a bit to see if it will turn? Any other ideas?

Friday, November 06, 2009 12:22 pm | Tony, is it the Plug or the Pin that is not coming out? If it is the plug, you can usually get a stubron plug out with an impact driver with the properly sized screwdriver tip. That is how I have done it in the past with 100% success. If you are not having any success, a little heat or cold should help but I think it will come loose with the impact driver. |
