Wednesday, November 04, 2009 03:14 pm | I was out riding today and got warning pop-up in the lower left corner of the Nav Display. It shows a box with NWS! displayed in it. I can't find the warning listed in the Nav manual or the Owners Manual, and I called Honda Support and that guy couldn't find it either. I'm guessing it's either a weather warning (National Weather Service) or a signal warning, but it would sure be nice to know for sure. Anyone know what this means? Thanks, Dave |

I have the weather on my '09 and find it very helpful that little screen will show radar data when it can be painted by radar. |

Thursday, November 05, 2009 08:08 am | Yes, profiles are a big help. Mine has disappeared everyday for the last 3. I'm not going to reenter it every morning. My sig is gone AGAIN etc. I'm not willing to blame Dave for no profile. |

Thursday, November 05, 2009 09:40 am | My apologies - I intended to include my bike information but made my post just before running out the door and slipped up. I have added a profile, but yes it's an 1800 with an XM subscription with weather and traffic. Like I said I'm assuming it's a weather or possibly a traffic warning, but I had never seen that icon before. Neither manual had info on it, Honda support didn't know, and a GIS for Goldwing Nav's and for Honda Nav's yielded no results. I thought about contacting Garmin, but suspect that might be fruitless as well. |

Thursday, November 05, 2009 05:04 pm | To hijack this thread, my profile is gone too, and GWRRA can reenter it from a backup (they do make backups don't they?). I sure wish they would get a new forum program instead of this poor antique that they continue to use. |
