Looks like I have more to go before they are at the limit. Just wondering how much you have gotten out of these and at what point do you replace them? At the wear-bars? |

Some people run tires much further than others would trying to squeeze the most they can out of tires and others just will not take a chance on running a tire till it is in the danger zone. I myself remove a tire just as soon as it nears the wear bands. I have one(lucky) acquaintance that will run a tire on the rear until it shows cord and then change it. For your information tho, I routinely got around 12 to 13,000 miles out of the avons on my old 1500. as for the 1800, I ran only one set and got 10,000 miles out of it. James I. Jones |

When I ran them I got about 13-15 out of a rear running it at 50 lbs. I ran 2 up with a trailer some times too. "ON2WLS" Personalized Plate Pearl Serra 95 SE 02 Aspen Classic |
