Tuesday, November 03, 2009 10:35 am | I have an 08 GL1800 with an 09 CSC Trike kit. I recentlty installed a rear spoiler which is currently wired up as a brake light only. I purchased one of those wiring kits to hook it up to run as a tailight as well as a brake light. I know the upper connection is the one on the trunk lid. But where in the heck do I go to hook up the lower end of the connector?? Any Trikers out there who can help?? It is the piece of "tupperware" on the bottom side of the trunk. After you get it removed, you will find the conectors down behind the CSC trunk. You may have to fish around in there to find them. That's where they are on my '06 CSC. One is the stop light wire and the other is hot with the ignition on. At least that is how my 06 is wired. You have to remove the inside cover of the trunk lid. You will see all the screws when you open the trunk. These have to be removed to drop the inside cover down. Watch for different lengths of the screws and remember where they go. PIF FREEDOM BOARD |
