I bought a new 2009 GL1800 and ordered the CB for it. I found the thread for installing the CB and I'm pretty sure I can do that with no problem. Trouble is, the first picture on the CB install shows a Goldwing fairly denuded of tupperware - where does one start with that and/or is there a how to book or video I can download so I can get that stuff off and back on without damaging it??

You need a service manual to tell you the procedure, the latest models have changed the procedure from the 2005 and previous years.

You can download a service manual for 2001-2005 models for free:

Here ya go. I did not remove any tupperware or the trunk. I removed the seat, emptied the trunk, and loosened the front shelter so that I could reach my hand in to plug in a connection in the front.
