Bill's post (below) reminded me of a problem I have.
I've replaced the socket and bulb on the right side of my 1500. I had to replace the socket because the original came apart. I replaced the socket with a standard socket to fit a 1157. It's not NEAR as bright as the left side.
Anyone know where I can get just the socket without buying the whole kit?

Just get a brighter 1157 bulb.
The bulbs at your local auto parts store do come in different amp sizes.
