Has anyone had any experience with the Bridgestone Battlax BT45 tire? Good or bad? I need to replace the front tire on my 2000 model 1500Se with Roadsmith kit. The Michelin Pilots are getting scarce and pricey.

I use one on the front of my 07. The ride is the same as any other tire I've had. The big plus for me is the mileage. I have about 12,000 miles on it and it hardly shows any wear.

Robert we have a 96se with a 06 lehman kit we have a bridgestone on the front of it.We have a little over ten thousand miles on it and it still looks like new with no cupping.I am not sure what series it is but so far I am well pleased with it.I run 38lbs. of air in it.

Robert. I ran one on my 1500 Motor Trike for 23000 miles and it still had 3/32 tread remaining with very minor cupping. It was mounted in normal rotation.

Thanks for the positive reports. After reading the replies,I ordered one for my trike. This will replace an Elete 2 which has 21,000 miles on it and the last 5,000 with the trike conversion.

We've been running one on the front of a friend's 1500 for about 3k miles. He loves it and it still looks new.

I have a Battleax rear tire on the front of my GL1800 2001. Has almost 5,000 miles on it and still looks almost new. The advantage is that it has stiffer sidewalls and the tread is thicker. Say what you may but picked this up on "dardsiders" and tried it and will never use anything different.
