Sorry Jim, I don't mean to get prickly here, just curious how this applies to tech issues. I barely have time to read our chapter newsletter. I know you're proud of your newsletter but what if we all posted our newsletters in the tech board?

It's not MY newsletter. It's our local one. I don't read the other board offerings. Just this one. Many tech board members enjoy reading the newsletter, even though it doesn't quite meet the criteria of tires, oil and burned out headlamps. If everyone posted their newsletters, this board would be a real winner.

Jim, the problem is just one from me, then somebody else decides "well, he did it, I will too", and another and another, and another, and so it goes and adds up. Pretty soon this is the maybe tech board.

Sorry Jim, but this is not the place to post newsletters.

I agree, I look to this place to ask technical questions. I also read all the questions/answers in an effort to learn as much as I can about our machines. I too like newsletters, but I go to those sites to specifically access the newsletters. Not trying to beat you up!

Well, since we're on "other" subjects. I'd like to see a "Goldwing Hotel." This would be a place for members to go to when traveling cross country to try to find a local who could put you up for the night. Or have a place for you to pitch a tent and maybe use the "hosts" facilities. This could cut down on considerably on motel/hotel costs. Van's Airforce has just such a link on their web site for pilots.

Hey Marshall... someone did that a few years back. Ask that same question on the general boards and someone will direct you to a link.

Don't worry Jim. It's only a misdemeanor, at most 10 lashes with a wet noodle!

The excellent winter storage article rates technical stuff with me.
