Saturday, October 31, 2009 11:15 am | I've used Mobil 1 for years but before storing the bike this month, I used blue jug Rotella T for next season. It certainly is cheaper than Mobil 1 by $10/jug here. Supposed to be a good choice. Not energy conserving either. Best regards, Jim My Ride |

Monday, November 02, 2009 06:40 pm | Mobile one had got down from $26 to $21 for a 5-quart jug at my local walmart. Noticed yesterday that it rose to $22 (recently weaker dollar and Holiday driving season approaching). This is still cheaper per quart than Rotella Syn. So, I bought 2 jugs one 10W40 (NON energy conserving) for the bike and 5W30 for the bike. Works out pretty good because the extra quart form the bike jug is needed in the truck (6 quarts). Don't figure one quart of 10W40 will hurt it. |
