I attempted to remove the rear center panel on my '08 1800,(includes the license plate). I think there were 4 screws that I removed. It wouldn't budge. Is there something more required to remove it?

After you take all the screws, there are 2 tabs on each side, just be careful and it will snap right out. <g>

Don't know if the 08 is different, but on my 03 there is a 5th screw in the center behind the license plate. Hope this helps.

I guess you don't have a manual.......there are 5 bolts, one is behind the license plate holder.

The 06 and newer only have four bolts. 01 - 05 had 5 bolts. On any of them, once the bolts are out give a good tug from the bottom and it will come off. Don't worry, nothing will break!

Memo to self. Take the center bolt out so removing the rear tire will be less time consuming. I should have done that before now. Thanks for reminding me.

My '08 has 4 screws. I just pull on the bottom edge toward a corner and that pops that side loose. Then just pull the other side loose. Installing is pretty straight forward. After aligning just push the sides in and the tabs slide right into the slots.
