I Have an 2009 GL1800. The left side heated grip is not warming at all while the right is working fine. I have never tried using them before this weekend so i don't know if it came like that or something went wrong after I've had it. I put the headlight modulators on it a few months ago but i dont think I knocked anything lose. Is there anything I could check before hauling it to the dealer.

Covered by warranty? If yes, then bring to the dealer. It IS a 2009 after all and should work.

Take it back to the dealer, they know about the heated grip problems. I think almost everyone sold had a problem. O.K. I'm exaggerating but there are a lot of them having problems

My 09's work fine BUT... it does seem as though that the right will heat up before the left. It takes a while for the left to get to the same temp as the right.

Haven't noticed any difference in my '08.
I did get the Kury Isogrips for the heated grips, but had trouble getting them on last year. Haven't tried again. I should have taken them to Davis to see if someone there could get them on.

I returned my Isogrips (heated) because it didn't adjust to the way I wanted to grip it (throttle side), on the non heated ones you didn't have that problem. I think the issue was the wires were positioned straight down (on our "08") and it did not leave room for any adjustment.
